The Neurovascular Center of the Vickie and Jack Farber Institute for Neuroscience and Department of Neurosurgery/Neuroscience at Thomas Jefferson University seeks outstanding candidates for faculty positions at the Assistant Professor rank. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or an M.D./Ph.D. degree with a research background in a relevant discipline such as blood-brain-barrier, ischemia-reperfusion, stem cells, or neuroinflammation which complements existing programs in basic and translational neurosciences at Jefferson. Candidates for an Assistant Professor in the tenure track must have a strong record of publications in high-quality, peer-reviewed journals and demonstrated ability to secure independent extramural funding (K99/R00, R21, R01, Foundation support).
