The Neural Science Program at NYU Shanghai invites applications for a full-time non-tenure-track position to teach neural science courses to academically outstanding undergraduate students from around the world.
The teaching commitments include up to four courses at both introductory and advanced undergraduate levels per year. Appointments are for 3 years effective September 1, 2020; contracts are renewable.
NYU Shanghai is looking for demonstrated excellence in university-level teaching. Candidates should be creative individuals who are flexible, outgoing, open to new environments, and respectful of diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
Candidates must hold a PhD in Neural Science or a related field such as cognitive psychology with experience in neuroscience by the starting date;
Previous teaching experience as a course instructor is recommended but not required.
