Kavli Institute for Systems Neuroscience, NTNU
About the positionTo be at the forefront of research and education in human cognitive neuroscience, the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) is announcing a 6-year tenure-track associate professorship in Medicine, with emphasis on human brain imaging, at the Kavli Institute for Systems Neuroscience (KISN). The position is affiliated with the Centre of Excellence (SFF) Centre for Neural Computation and the Egil and Pauline Braathen and Fred Kavli Centre for Cortical Microcircuits. The Kavli-Braathen Centre offers access to a facility for behavioral imaging experiments in humans. NTNU and St. Olav’s Hospital have a mutual strategy for integration of research activities including shared operation of advanced infrastructures for research. Results and competence from KISN shall ultimately contribute to clinical practice. In this respect, the position will form a bridge between KISN and St. Olav’s Hospital.
