What You Will Do
As an Associate with St. Vincent Health-IN, you will have the opportunity to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
What to expect in our Neurology / Progressive Neurology Unit:
St. Vincent has partnered with Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine, one of the largest and most progressive neurosurgical practices in North America. We have also achieved the nation’s highest level of stroke care, which is shared by less than 4% of hospitals in the United States. With these accomplishments, we can provide care to large population of high acuity patients. Our Nurse to patient ratio varies from 4:1 or 3:1 depending on the level of patient acuity.

Monthly Brain Food Lunch and Learn
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
