The Department of Neuroscience at The University of Texas at Austin invites applications to fill two faculty positions at any rank (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor – tenure-track or tenured).
We seek innovative candidates with outstanding research potential in all areas within neuroscience. These candidates may help build new areas of strength or build on existing strengths of learning and memory, addiction, ion channel structure/function, computational/theory and perceptual systems.
These positions entail highly competitive salary and start-up funds commensurate with level of appointment. Successful candidates will be expected to develop and maintain an active research program within a collegial, collaborative, and vibrant academic environment. All tenure-track positions require a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in neuroscience or a related field.
