Our world-renowned Developmental Neurobiology Department has an exciting opportunity for a Research Laboratory Specialist in the Solecki Group. In this role, you will be part of a team that strives elucidate the cellular mechanisms for neuronal differentiation and migration using state of the art imaging or molecular biology techniques.
You will have the opportunity to interact with experts from diverse backgrounds and collaborators from around the world. This position will be ideal for either a: 1) Bioimaging Specialist with experience with cutting edge imaging instruments and programming skills to extract biological metrics from an increasing flow of high-resolution neuronal imaging data in our laboratory or 2) a classically trained developmental neurobiologist with in utero electroporation and molecular biology skills to interrogate epigenetic states in neuronal differentiation (ChIP-PCR or ChIP-Seq). St. Jude is among a few institutes in the world with the capacity to interrogate biological questions through our in-house advanced imaging capabilities, including Lattice Light Sheet Microscopy, FRET, FRAP, TIRF, and super-resolution imaging (SIM, PALM or STORM) as well as institutional cores to support state of the art molecular biology and next-gen sequencing techniques.

Bachelor's degree in appropriate scientific field is required.
A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant post-degree work experience, with at least five (5) years at the Sr. Research Tech level, is required with a Bachelor's degree
A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant post-degree work experience, with at least (5) years at the Sr. Research Tech level, is required with a Master's degree
A minimum of four (4) years of relevant work experience including post-doctoral and/or technical staff experience is required with a Ph.D
