NIH-funded Postdoctoral fellow positions are available in the Zheng lab at the University of California Riverside. Current research projects investigate the emerging roles of alternative splicing and nonsense-mediated mRNA decay in the brain. Strong background in RNA biology, developmental neurobiology, and mouse genetics is highly preferred. PhDs with expertise in one or more of the following, biochemistry, in utero electroporation, RNA binding proteins, single cell biology, stem cell biology, genome editing, ribogenomics, cytoskeleton, and DNA repair/recombination are strongly encouraged to apply.
