The Department of Neuroscience and the Mahoney Institute for Neurosciences (MINS) at the Perelman School of Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania request applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level in basic neuroscience. Special attention will be given to those applying innovative molecular approaches. Highly competitive lab space and start-up funds are available for the successful candidate.
The Department of Neuroscience is located within a vibrant environment on the Penn campus. MINS includes more than 100 labs, spanning the breadth of the neurosciences, brought together to foster collaborative and multi-disciplinary approaches to advance our understanding of the brain.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Applicants in mid-career with established records of scholarly activity and/or research programs are encouraged to apply. Special attention will be given to those applying innovative molecular approaches.
First consideration will be given to applications received by September 1, 2019, but applications will continue to be accepted.
