The Department of Neurobiology and Anatomy at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) invites applications for two tenure-track faculty appointments in the area of neurodegenerative diseases. We seek applications from candidates who explore molecular, cellular and/or circuit mechanisms underlying neurodegeneration and dementia. Applications at both junior and senior levels will be considered, with rank dependent on experience and qualifications. We are located within the Texas Medical Center and its very rich and collaborative neuroscience community including Baylor College of Medicine, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Rice University and the University of Houston.
Individuals will be expected to develop a strong, independent research program and contribute to our departmental teaching mission.
