The Neurovascular Center of the Vickie and Jack Farber Institute for Neuroscience at Thomas Jefferson University also seeks outstanding candidates for two postdoctoral positions working in stroke and neurovascular disease. A PhD, MD or equivalent degree is required. The preferred applicant will have broad neuroscience background and experience in a range of techniques including tissue culture, cell imaging, molecular biology, and animal models in stroke. The applicant should have a strong publication record and understanding of blood-brain-barrier, ischemia-reperfusion, neurogenesis and regeneration. The position is available immediately with the possibility for annual contract renewal and/or promotion based on performance evaluation and funding availability.
