Dr. Man-Kyo Chung’s lab at the University of Maryland is looking for a postdoctoral fellow for studying mechanisms of craniofacial pain. Chung lab investigates neural and molecular mechanisms of craniofacial muscle pain, tooth pain and neuropathic pain using multidisciplinary approaches in mouse models.
The candidate is expected to be highly motivated and has a publication record in the area of pain. Experience with survival surgery, behavioral assays, molecular biology and immunohistochemical assays are expected. Expertise in electrophysiology, brain microinjection, neuroimmune and orofacial pain research is preferred. Dentist scientists are welcome to apply.
