The Neuroscience Scholars Program (NSP) is an extensive two-year online training program open to underrepresented neuroscience graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. NSP offers live events and webinars, a library of educational resources, and an online community for seeking career connections and scientific and professional development guidance.


NSP provides researchers with resources to cultivate long-term success through mentoring and networking, professional skills development, and educational programming. All eligible applicants will be invited to become NSP Associates. Eighteen candidates will be selected as NSP Fellows and gain additional benefits, including access to a mentor and additional support for professional development activities

ELIGIBILITY
• Citizen or permanent resident of the United States
• Enrolled in a graduate degree-granting program or postdoctoral fellowship
• According to the NIH guidelines, from a group recognized as underrepresented in the biomedical, behavioral, clinical, and social sciences. These groups include Blacks or African Americans, Hispanics or Latinos, American Indians or Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians and other Pacific Islanders, and individuals with disabilities, defined as physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities
