POSITION: Applications are invited for a 9 month, tenure track faculty position at the rank of assistant professor in the Department of Kinesiology with a specialization in Neuroscience.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: We are seeking an energetic faculty member with expertise in neuroscience to strengthen interdisciplinary research focused on the neuroanatomy and neurophysiological processes connecting brain function with human movement. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining an active line of research, including engagement in interdisciplinary collaborations; teaching, advising, and supervising student research in areas of expertise; and engaging in collaborative departmental, university, and professional service activities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have 1) an earned doctorate in neuroscience or related field, and 2) evidence of a focused line of research with potential to seek external funding to support research activities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in teaching and mentoring students in scholarly endeavors. Encompass a broad view of neuroscience with strong interest in interdisciplinary collaborations across Department sub-disciplines. Expertise in fMRI and related neuroimaging techniques is also highly desirable.
