The Laboratory for Cell and Membrane Biophysics at UCSF has an immediate opening for a postdoctoral fellow to study the role of astrocyte water transport in neuroinflammation and neurodegeneration using novel transgenic rodent models and advanced optical imaging methodology. Qualified candidates will have a PhD, MD or MD-PhD, a track record of productivity and relevant technical expertise in neurophysiological and neuropathological methods.
