A research position is available immediately to study the molecular and epigenetic mechanisms underlying the formation, extinction, and reinstatement of drug-seeking behavior. The project aims to understand epigenetic mechanisms involved in aspects of persistence of drug-seeking. The candidate must have a recent Ph.D. in a neuroscience related field, experience with behavioral neuroscience experiments, and also preferable is experience in the field of addiction neuroscience and modern molecular biology (cell-type and circuit specific approaches). Funding is for minimum of 3 years with possibility of renewal depending on performance and funding.
