Postdoctoral Associate – Ensembles involved in environmental modulation of drug seeking behavior

The project will use activity-dependent tools (e.g., TetTag mice) to identify and manipulate neural ensembles engaged during persistent drug seeking after self-administration.
The Neuroscience Research Center is home to over 100 neuroscientists and the Medical College of Wisconsin has numerous core facilities and other resources to promote scientific training and multidisciplinary research, including an Office of Postdoctoral Education. The associate must have a Ph.D. in neuroscience, biology, or a related field and/or an M.D. with research experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in behavioral studies of drug addiction, a strong publication record.
