The laboratory of Dr. Jaideep Kapur, at the University of Virginia has an opening for a postdoctoral researcher to perform electrophysiological studies, including local field potential, electrocorticogram in animal models of seizures. These techniques will be combined with imaging techniques to study pathways and mechanisms of seizure spread. Experience and publications utilizing cellular neurophysiology techniques is required.
