The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Johns Hopkins https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/otolaryngology/index.html seeks a faculty member with expertise in the genetics of hearing and/or balance to join the Center for Hearing and Balance in 2018-2019. https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/hearing-balance/index.html. The appointment of a scientist or clinician-scientist with demonstrated interest in the genetics of inner ear function and dysfunction will be made at the Assistant or Associate level (tenure track). This search will be conducted jointly with the McKusick-Nathans Institute of Genetic Medicine at Johns Hopkins.

Early to mid-stage scientist or clinician-scientist with demonstrated interest in the genetics of inner ear function/dysfunction. Associate Professor appointment would require established (NIH-funded) research program.
