A Postdoctoral Researcher position is available in the lab of Steven Shabel, Ph.D. in the Department of Psychiatry at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Projects will involve ex vivo and in vivo investigations of reward circuit function in animal models of depression.
Prior experience in rodent surgery, slice physiology, and behavior are desired but not required. A PhD in Neurobiology, or related fields, is required.
