The Department of Psychology & Neuroscience and the Neuroscience Program in the College of Liberal Arts (CLA) at Temple University invite applications for a full-time, non-tenure track instructional faculty position beginning Fall 2025 for in-person instruction. The position is for a new faculty member who would teach core and elective courses in the CLA Neuroscience program as well as neuroscience-oriented courses within the Psychology program.

The initial contract is for one year, with the potential for contract renewal contingent upon performance and programmatic needs. Instructional faculty are eligible for promotion along a non-tenure track.

The position requires an earned Doctoral degree in Neuroscience or Psychology or a closely related field, along with evidence of successful prior teaching. Responsibilities include the teaching of four undergraduate courses for each of two semesters per year. The successful candidate would ideally be capable of teaching courses such as cellular neuroscience, psychopharmacology, neurobiology of disease, neurobiology of learning and memory, and neuroendocrinology, as well as elective topical courses in neuroscience and psychology.
