Job Details

The Department of Psychology & Neuroscience of Boston College invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track Lecturer position (three-year renewable contract) in Neuroscience to begin July 1, 2025. Outstanding candidates for this position will have a Ph.D. in Neuroscience or a related field, and experience and interest in undergraduate instruction in behavioral, cognitive, systems, psychiatric, or computational neuroscience. Applicants will be evaluated on their potential to design and implement undergraduate courses from the introductory to advanced undergraduate levels. Lecturers teach five courses per year (3-2 or 2-3 teaching load). Three letters of reference should be submitted directly by letter writers through the “request recommendations” link on Interfolio. Letter writers should be named in the cover letter. All materials must be submitted on or before January 20, 2025 for full consideration. Review of applications will continue until the position is filled.
