Postdoctoral Position in Pain Research
The University of Iowa NIH-funded Pain Research Program is looking for Postdoctoral Fellows to join our NIH T32 training grant “Interdisciplinary Training Program in Pain Research”. The research training program emphasizes genetic, molecular, cellular and systems level approaches to the study of pain and analgesia in both animal models and human populations. The program focuses on acute and persistent pain states, such as those invoked by peripheral inflammation, nerve injury, musculoskeletal pain, quantitative sensory testing (QST) and migraine at both the basic science and clinical levels.
Qualified candidates should hold a Ph.D. or M.D. degree and be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder. Applicants from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Salary is provided based on the NIH guidelines (NIH postdoc salary scale: https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/notice-files/NOT-OD-24-104.html) and commensurate with experience.
Please see the Pain Research Program website for more information regarding our program, trainee requirements, expectations, and opportunities at https://pain.medicine.uiowa.edu/about-program.
Interested candidates, please e-mail your CV to the Program Co-Directors:
