Postdoctoral Research Position in Immunocytochemistry/Confocal Imaging
Department of Neurology & Rehabilitation Medicine, The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Washington, DC, USA
Full-time Postdoctoral Research Position available immediately, funded by NIH grant, to investigate the pathology underlying the vestibular neural circuitry using an animal model for congenital vestibular disorders. Immunolabeling approaches and confocal imaging will be applied to study the vestibular inner ear and brainstem vestibular nuclei neurons in our new chick model for congenital vestibular disorders.
The successful candidate will have experience with imaging approaches at the journal publication level. Preference will be given to a well-organized and self-motivated applicant who has experience working in a biomedical research laboratory. Salary follows NIH guidelines.
