ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN BIOLOGY
The University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor to join the Department of Biology within the School of Mathematics, Science, and Engineering beginning August 2024. Full-time faculty at UIW are expected to teach four courses in the fall semester and four courses in the spring semester.  In all matters, faculty are expected to maintain the highest standards of professional ethics consistent with the UIW Mission. Official duties and responsibilities of faculty members at the University include teaching, scholarship, service, and professional activities.

REQUIREMENTS

• Ph.D. in Biology or a closely related discipline.

• Successful teaching experience in the field at the undergraduate level, as evidenced by peer and/or student reviews.
