Assistant, Associate or Full Professor

The Neuroscience Center of Excellence is accepting applications for an academic faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor. Qualified applicants must have a MD, MD/PhD, or PhD degree and an established record of innovative research and current extramural funding in Alzheimer’s disease.
 

Investigators with funded research programs in AD/ADRD in one the following areas are encouraged to apply:

1. Genomics/multi-omics/epigenomics
2. Early detection, risk reduction, and prevention using population or health system-based approaches or clinical trials/biomarker discovery.
3. Data science/bioinformatics/Health disparities
    

The Neuroscience Center of Excellence, School of Medicine, LSU Health New Orleans has designated Alzheimer’s disease as one of the research focus areas. The Center is home to several collaborative NIH-funded investigators.

Rank and track dependent on qualifications; faculty appointment will be in the appropriate academic department in the LSU School of Medicine.
