The Department of Ophthalmology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time tenure track or tenured Investigator at the academic rank of Assistant or Associate Professor to run an independent research laboratory. The Department of Ophthalmology is composed of an outstanding group of full-time faculty members based on the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine Chicago Campus. Faculty members have access to a very strong pool of graduate students through several graduate programs, including the Driskill Graduate Program in Life Sciences (DGP) and the Northwestern University Interdepartmental Neuroscience program (NUIN).
Qualified candidates will have a PhD and a demonstrated track record of high impact research in vision science. We will consider applicants at any academic rank. Salary and rank will be based on experience and credentials. Preference will be given to candidates with existing grant support.
The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.
