Postdoctoral Researcher

The laboratory of Dr. Deveroux Ferguson at The University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate. Dr. Ferguson's lab studies the epigenetic mechanisms underlying neuropsychiatric disorders with an emphasis on rodent models of depression. The lab utilizes a wide range of molecular and behavioral approaches including, ChIP-Seq, RNA-Seq, Viral Vectors, FACs, Cell type specific transgenic mice and behavioral assays of despair-like behaviors. The ideal candidate should have basic molecular biological experience and experience working with rodents. Experience with transgenic mice, sterotaxic surgery, subcloning, ChIP-Seq and RNA-Seq is preferred but not required.
