The Department of Neuroscience at The University of Texas at Austin invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor.
We seek outstanding candidates with innovative research proposals in all areas of neuroscience to build upon existing strengths in the fields of learning and memory, computational and theoretical neuroscience, cellular and sensory systems, addiction, developmental neuroscience, biophysics, and synaptic plasticity.
This position comprises a highly competitive salary and start-up funds. We expect new faculty to develop and maintain an ambitious research program within a vibrant and collegial academic environment. The department values candidates who have demonstrated a commitment to student and trainee mentorship.
