The Department of Neurobiology and Behavior at Stony Brook University is pleased to invite outstanding applicants for the following tenure-track faculty positions:

1) A SUNY Empire Innovation Program (EIP) tenured/tenure-track open rank faculty position (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) in Stony Brook’s Renaissance School of Medicine. EIP is a prestigious SUNY-wide program that supports the recruitment of faculty with records of strong research accomplishment in areas of strategic significance. Outstanding scientists studying the neurobiology/ cellular or molecular bases of movement, movement disorders and neurodegeneration relying on vertebrate models are especially encouraged to apply.

2) A tenured/tenure-track open rank faculty position (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) in Stony Brook’s Renaissance School of Medicine. Exceptional candidates from all areas of neuroscience are encouraged to apply.

3) A tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the College of Arts and Sciences for candidates studying the neurobiology of addiction and/or related areas of neuromodulation/motivation. Applicants at the junior stage must have a Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent degree, and at least two years of postdoctoral experience. Candidates from diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
