The Department of Neurobiology and Behavior at Stony Brook University is pleased to invite outstanding applicants for the following tenure-track faculty positions:
1) A SUNY Empire Innovation Program (EIP) tenured/tenure-track open rank faculty position (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) in Stony Brook’s Renaissance School of Medicine. EIP is a prestigious SUNY-wide program that supports the recruitment of faculty with records of strong research accomplishment in areas of strategic significance. Outstanding scientists studying the neurobiology/ cellular or molecular bases of movement, movement disorders and neurodegeneration relying on vertebrate models are especially encouraged to apply.

2) A tenured/tenure-track open rank faculty position (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) in Stony Brook’s Renaissance School of Medicine. Exceptional candidates from all areas of neuroscience are encouraged to apply.

Applicants at the junior stage must have a Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent degree, and at least two years of postdoctoral experience. Candidates from diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
