The Department of Neuroscience at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine https://www.feinberg.northwestern.edu/sites/neuroscience/ seeks a full-time tenure track Investigator at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor.  Outstanding candidates in all disciplines of neuroscience applying modern experimental and/or computational approaches to understand cellular, synaptic, or circuit function in health and disease are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will join a thriving, collegial and supportive department at the heart of the neuroscience community based in downtown Chicago in the Feinberg School of Medicine. Northwestern has a large neuroscience community consisting of over 150 faculty members, located on both Chicago and Evanston campuses, providing many opportunities for collaboration. The scientific environment at Northwestern is rich with core facilities, robust cross-disciplinary graduate training programs, and diverse expertise.  Applicants should have an outstanding record of research that adds to existing departmental strengths. Candidates should have a PhD, MD/PhD or MD degree, a record of research accomplishment in line with their career stage, and evidence of successfully competing for funding.  Salary is commensurate with experience and start date is negotiable.
