The Department of Anatomy, in the College of Graduate Studies, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will participate in team-taught Neuroscience courses within our graduate, medical and health professions programs covering topics in Neuroanatomy, Neurophysiology and Clinical Neuroscience. Applicants will be expected to establish an independent research program capable of attracting extramural funding. Current research interests within the department include regeneration and plasticity, auditory system, myelination and demyelinating diseases, inflammation and immunology, metabolism, biological anthropology, and vertebrate paleontology.
To be considered for the position, you must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree, a minimum of two years of postdoctoral experience, a commitment to excellence in teaching and a documented record of scholarly activity.
