The Mayo Clinic is pleased to announce a new search for an open rank faculty member in neuropharmacology, specifically in the area of therapy for behavioral disorders.
This is an open-rank search for a faculty member with expertise in the field of translational neuropharmacology with an emphasis on the identification of new therapeutic targets, understanding mechanisms of therapeutic action, as well as mechanisms for the basis of individual variation in response using the latest technologies such as functional genomics, imaging and multiple omics. The successful candidate will join the Department of Molecular Pharmacology & Experimental Therapeutics.
The ideal candidate with a M.D, Ph.D., or M.D./Ph.D. will have a history of NIH-equivalent extramural funding or high potential and strong promise to compete well for meritorious, competitive extramural funding. The recruited individual will also be highly collaborative within MPET, across the enterprise, with multiple departments, multispecialty physicians, and clinician investigators. In addition, as a faculty in MPET, he/she will be highly encouraged to participate in education and MPET departmental activities.
