Faculty Neuropsychologist

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time Neuropsychologist at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor on the Non-Tenure track.

This position is critical to the collaborations between psychiatry and other specialties (e.g., Neurology, Neurosurgery, Transplant, Oncology, and General Internal Medicine) in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of patients with known or suspected neurocognitive impairment due to medical, psychiatric, and neurodevelopmental conditions. Responsibilities include performing neuropsychological evaluations (in outpatient and inpatient/intraoperative settings) of adult patients referred from a variety of sources across the medical center. While this is predominantly a clinical position, opportunities to contribute to education and clinical training activities within the department, including the doctoral program in clinical psychology and post-doctoral neuropsychology fellowship programs, are available.

Qualified candidates will have their PhD in clinical psychology/clinical neuropsychology, completed an APA approved clinical internship with a neuropsychology emphasis, have at least two years of supervised postdoctoral training in clinical neuropsychology, and will be licensed or licensed eligible in the State of Illinois. Salary is commensurate with experience.
