Summary: PsychoGenics Inc is seeking a skilled researcher to perform LCMS (Liquid Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer) bioanalysis in support of client and drug discovery efforts.  The ability to perform in vivo laboratory work is desirable as would a basic understanding of chemistry.  Individual will also need to be highly motivated with a desire to learn new techniques to expand their knowledge base in our growing organization including bioanalytical techniques.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform LCMS bioanalysis in support of client and drug discovery efforts
  • Handle samples (plasma and tissue) using a variety of sample preparation techniques
  • Track samples coming into the lab through to completion of analyses in an organized manner using such tools as Microsoft Team
  • Organize data using Microsoft Office and communicate results via written reports to clients

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or related disciplines requiring laboratory skills
  • Minimum one-year experience in laboratory setting  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Ability to effectively collaborate within a team
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in DMPK laboratory setting
  • Proficiency in Prism for preparation of reports, presentations and updates to staff and clients
  • Hands on laboratory skills In vivo lab skills (dosing, sample collection, sample preparation)
  • Experience operating LCMS systems
