  • Initial project aims focus on studying hippocampal and neocortical interactions during language behavior paradigms.
  • Data sources:
    • Intracranial EEG local field potential recordings
    • Behnke-Fried microelectrode recordings for single neuron isolation
    • Responsive neurostimulation devices
    • Micro- and macro-electrode recordings during deep brain stimulation
  • Skills/experience:
    • Extensive computational coding and analytical background (Python, Matlab); comfort with time series and single unit analysis
    • Experience or interest in applying machine learning / deep learning methods for modeling complex cognitive functions
    • Experience or interest in developing language related behavioral task paradigms
    • Experience or interest in mentoring medical and graduate students
