One post-doctoral position is open in the laboratory of Camillo Padoa-Schioppa, at Washington University in St Louis. Research in our lab investigates the neural mechanisms underlying economic choices in non-human primates and mice. We combine complex behavioral tasks, state-of-the-art neurophysiological and imaging techniques, and computational approaches. In recent years, we made substantial progress understanding the neuronal representation of goods and values in various brain regions. New scientists joining our lab will take this research to the next level. For further information, visit https://sites.wustl.edu/padoaschioppalab/ and/or send us an email. Prior training in neuroscience (broadly defined) and basic computational skills are required. Candidates with prior experience with animal training, neurophysiology and/or computer programming are especially encouraged to apply. Washington University and the Department of Neuroscience (see https://neuroscience.wustl.edu/) are home to a large and collaborative scientific community. They provide an ideal environment to train, conduct research, and launch a career in science. The salary will be set according to NIH guidelines. Please send your application, including CV and contact information for 2 references to camillo@wustl.edu
