The George Mason University Center for Neural Informatics, Structures, and Plasticity (CN3), within the College of Engineering and Computing (CEC), seeks a proactive, organized, and self-reliant NeuroMorpho.Org Project Lead. - Recruiting, train, and supervise undergraduate interns for data parsing, editing, quality check, and visualization; Assist the Principal Investigator (PI) by overseeing the day-to-day operation of NeuroMorpho.Org; Extract morphometric measurements from neuronal and glial tracings; Performing statistical analyses and writing research manuscripts for peer-review; Interact with researchers in other national and international institutions; Participate in all aspects of the Center’s mission, such as actively attending group meetings and weekly seminars; Prepare and deliver interactive demos for visitors and external stakeholders; and Submit abstracts for conference presentations.
- A PhD in Neuroscience/Bioengineering or other relevant fields; and Multi-year postdoctoral experience in neurite quantification.

The College of Engineering and Computing (CEC) at George Mason University is comprised of the Volgenau School of Engineering and a new School of Computing. George Mason University has committed to accelerate its plans to grow its capacity in computing and high-tech fields. Among the exciting initiatives being undertaken by the university are the launch of the Institute for Digital InnovAtion, a university think tank and incubator to serve the digital economy, and the expansion of its Arlington Campus with a planned 400,000 square foot building that will house the new Institute for Digital InnovAtion. These initiatives reflect hundreds of millions of dollars in new investment by Mason that will rapidly elevate the university’s already leading national position in computing and related areas.
