DALLAS—The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an outstanding neuroscientist with research interests in the neurobiological basis of mental illness, including addiction, autism, depression, schizophrenia and brain injury for a tenure track faculty position as Vice Chair of Psychiatry Neuroscience. The successful candidate will have an MD and/or PhD degree with significant research experience; outstanding potential for acquiring external funding to maintain an active, independent research program; and ability to work effectively to lead a group of highly multidisciplinary, diverse, and collaborative investigators. Outstanding research facilities and a generous start-up package is available. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience.
