The McKenzie lab is seeking a postdoc to study how changes in synaptic connectivity affect neural dynamics in the context of learning and memory. We work with rats and mice and use various approaches including: high density extracellular electrophysiology, fiber photometry, conditional genetics, animal behavior, immunohistochemistry, and chemo- and optogenetics. We seek a candidate with a strong computational/analytical skills. Candidate is responsible for leading the project which will include designing and conducting experiments, analyzing data, manuscript preparation and data dissemination at conferences. 

The candidate should have a PhD in the neurosciences.
