Applications are invited for an NIH-funded postdoctoral position at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center to investigate neurotransmitter receptor physiology. The successful candidate will perform whole-cell patch-clamp and cell-attached recordings in acute brain slices and primary neuronal cultures. The project may also involve imaging with SIM-STORM super-resolution and two-photon microscopy as well as biochemical analysis of receptors. Applicants must possess PhD and/or MD degree and have a strong background in neuroscience. Expertise in electrophysiology, live imaging and/or biochemical analysis of post-translational modifications is desirable.
