Position Description
The Yuste Lab seeks a neuroscientist to advance its research into the neuronal ensembles in the nerve net of the small cnidarian Hydra vulgaris, in order to decipher neural codes. The research is aimed at trying to ascertain if neural codes and basic principles of neural circuit function are conserved throughout evolution, similar to the genetic code.
Qualifications
PhD in Cellular & Integrative Physiology, Neurobiology or Neuroscience, or related discipline
3 or more years of relevant lab experience
