This program will leverage cutting-edge laboratory techniques that include the use of Zebrafish, organisms, in vitro human tissue-derived models, and stem cells.

Examples of areas of interest for this position include:

  • Maintenance and regulation of neural stem cells
  • Neuronal repair mechanisms through activation of neural stem cells
  • Study of neuronal regeneration in zebrafish
  • Zebrafish models of Alzheimer’s Disease
  • Role of human mutations in regeneration in the Zebrafish

We are looking for candidates that will lead the development of novel therapeutic approaches to Alzheimer’s Disease.
