Seeking a motivated post-doctoral fellow to join a team that studies the pathophysiology of Parkinson's disease using a novel rat model using cutting edge tools and techniques funded by NIH R01, DoD and industry under the leadership of Thyagarajan Subramanian. Experience in any of the following techniques is highly desirable: optogenetics, chemogenetics, stem cell transplantation, electrophysiology, polysomnography, fiber photometry, gene therapy, microdialysis, light sheet microscopy and parkinsonian behavioral testing. Opportunities for career growth and independence abundant. Excellent support with the laboratory and extensive availability of core services facilitates ease of execution of scientific experiments.
