Post-doctoral Fellow – The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center
Neurosurgery/Spinal Neurosurgery
The Department of Neurosurgery at The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center is seeking applicants interested in post-doctoral investigation in chronic cervical spinal injury and neurological imaging. The research team is based at the OU Health Sciences Center, but includes a collaborative network with Stanford University, U. Texas Southwestern, and Northwestern University. The ideal candidate for this position will have a background in biomedical or mechanical engineering, musculoskeletal or neurological imaging, and/or interest in/or previous exposure to computational devices for advanced neuroimaging (functional MRI, MRI tractography, applications of machine learning to imaging databases). An interest in and history of peer-reviewed publications and willingness to present and disseminate research will add to an ideal candidates application. We are also looking for candidates comfortable interfacing with a multi-skill set team with different backgrounds (PhDs and MDs).
