The Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL) in Woods Hole, Massachusetts announces a search for outstanding, innovative new faculty to join the Eugene Bell Center, with particular interest in candidates who utilize emerging marine and aquatic organisms to investigate fundamental questions in areas such as cell and developmental biology, neuroscience, evolutionary biology, or regenerative biology. Preference will be given to appointments at the Assistant Scientist rank, although exceptional candidates at the Associate Scientist level will also be considered.

The MBL is an international center for research, education, and training in biology, biomedicine, and environmental science. The oldest private marine laboratory in the country, the MBL has a year-round staff of more than 270 scientists and support personnel working in such fields as cell, developmental, and regenerative biology, ecology, microbiology, genetics and metagenomics, neurobiology, sensory biology, and biodiversity informatics.
