The laboratory of Dr. Jin Ro at the University of Maryland Baltimore School of Dentistry is seeking two postdoctoral research fellows. The Ro lab is focused on understanding the neurobiological mechanisms of musculoskeletal pain conditions (e.g., orofacial muscle pain, osteoarthritis pain), using a multidisciplinary approach in rodent models. The successful applicants will join a rich and collaborative pain research environment. Candidates must have a PhD in neuroscience or a related displine. A background in pain and preclinical experience in behavioral nociceptive measuments are desired. Experiences in epigenetics and chemogenetics would be a strong advantage.  Applicants from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
