Job Details
We are looking for a postdoctoral associate to join our research program focused on fMRI neurofeedback clinical trials in neuropsychiatric populations. The successful candidate will have a strong aptitude for (and interest in) real-time fMRI neurofeedback and functional neuroimaging data analyses. Familiarity with real-time fMRI neurofeedback or functional neuroimaging data analyses, a programming background, and experience with Linux are all assets, but not required. Critically, the candidate must have strong analytical/computational skills and be interested in human functional brain imaging. A Ph.D. in neuroscience, psychology, biomedical engineering, or a related field is required. The successful candidate will be expected to design and conduct complex analyses of functional neuroimaging data, to prepare manuscripts for publication, and to present the results at scientific meetings. Applicants should forward a CV, contact information for 3 references, and a statement of research interests to Michelle Hampson (michelle.hampson@yale.edu). Application due date: December 15th. The ideal start date is March 1, 2022, but there is substantial flexibility with the start date. Salary will be based on the standard NIH payscale. Yale University is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity employer. Yale values diversity among its students, staff, and faculty and strongly welcomes applications from women, persons with disabilities, protected veterans, and underrepresented minorities.
