The Institute for Behavioral Genetics, University of Colorado Boulder, invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professorship with an academic appointment in one of the following departments: 1) Integrative Physiology, 2) Psychology and Neuroscience, 3) Ecology and Evolutionary Biology.

The Institute seeks to strengthen its next generation of research on the genetics of behavior. In particular, we are seeking a scholar who utilizes animal models and state of the art tools to investigate the genetics of behavior. Priority will be placed on applicants whose research interests will integrate and complement ongoing areas of research including, but are not restricted to, pharmacogenetics, addiction, psychiatric disorders, cognition, development, or aging. The appointee will be expected to develop a productive, extramurally funded research program and participate in the undergraduate and graduate teaching missions of both the Institute and their academic department.

Minimum requirements are a PhD, MD, or DPhil in a life science discipline which includes, but is not limited to, neuroscience, genetics, psychology and physiology.
