We are seeking outstanding and driven applicants for two postdoctoral Research Associate positions in neuroengineering in Galit Pelled’s lab.

The postdoctoral fellows will perform research as part of two NIH-funded grants that are focus on:

Bioaquatic inspired prosthesis- Using electrophysiology and imaging to identify fundamental sensorimotor circuits in octopus (NIH, UF1NS115817).

Magnetogenetics- Developing innovative genetic and molecular-based neuromodulation technologies (NIH, R01NS098231).

The successful candidates will be expected to conduct experiments, collect and analyze data, give research presentations, write scholarly papers, provide progress reports, and mentor graduate and undergraduate students in the lab.

This position is a 12-month fixed term appointment. Renewal of position is based on funding and performance.  A Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Biomedical Engineering, Physiology, or Neuroscience is required for the position.
