The Jhou lab (www.jhoulab.org) seeks a postdoctoral fellow to join a vibrant, collaborative and active research group and department studying circuits and molecules of addiction, motivation, and individual differences. The Jhou lab uses a wide range of of models and techniques, including transgenic rats/mice, calcium imaging (endoscopy and photometry), slice and in vivo electrophysiology, and genomic methods. Applicants will receive training in these areas, while also being encouraged to develop grant writing skills and to develop their own directions of inquiry in preparation for their future careers. The lab is located on the main MUSC campus in historic downtown Charleston, with year-round warm weather and walking/biking distance to parks, restaurants, beaches. Please send CV and brief statement of research interests to jhou@musc.edu
